Important: HireCheck is a software product developed and owned by Daxies Web Design. By creating an account or using the HireCheck platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before signing up.
HireCheck is a cloud-based equipment condition recording and damage documentation platform designed for plant and equipment hire businesses. HireCheck is developed, owned, and operated by Daxies Web Design (ABN 16 813 608 279), an Australian web design and software development business.
Access to HireCheck is provided as a subscription service (Software as a Service, or SaaS). Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
The HireCheck platform — including all source code, design, branding assets, database structures, features, logic, and intellectual property — is and remains the sole property of Daxies Web Design. This applies regardless of the subscription plan held by the subscriber.
Subscribers on the Business plan are permitted to apply their own business name, logo, and brand colours within the HireCheck interface (the "Custom Branding" feature). This customisation is a display-only feature. It does not transfer, assign, or grant any ownership rights in the underlying platform to the subscriber. The software itself, in whole or in part, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Daxies Web Design at all times.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as transferring ownership of any part of the HireCheck platform to a subscriber.
Data entered into HireCheck by subscribers (including equipment records, inspection records, photos, and customer information) remains the property of the subscriber. Daxies Web Design will not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than operating and improving the HireCheck service.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and lawful records within the platform. You must not upload content that is defamatory, illegal, or infringes the rights of any third party.
HireCheck is offered on a subscription basis. The following plan tiers are available:
New accounts start on a 7-day free Business plan trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will be restricted until a paid plan is activated. All your data is retained during this period.
Subscription fees are billed monthly. Daxies Web Design reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
New accounts are granted a 7-day Business plan trial at no cost. During the trial you have access to all Business plan features. At the end of the trial, access to the app will be restricted until you activate a paid subscription. No data is deleted at trial end.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Daxies Web Design reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in misuse of the platform, or fail to maintain payment.
Upon termination, your data may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you the opportunity to export any records you require.

Daxies Web Design will make reasonable efforts to ensure HireCheck is available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and accept no liability for downtime caused by maintenance, third-party infrastructure issues, or events outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daxies Web Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of HireCheck, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of HireCheck shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim.
By using HireCheck, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy. We collect only the information necessary to operate the service and will never sell your personal information to third parties.
Daxies Web Design may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of HireCheck after changes are notified constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
